Volunteer With Florida Citrus Sports

We have a number of volunteer opportunities available throughout the year.  Here are just some of the events where we'll need extra hands:

Foundation MVPs Summer Camp
June - August
Our free summer camp for underprivileged youth in Orange County always needs guest speakers to help enrich the campers' understanding of the world around them. Guest speakers talk about their lives and careers, answer questions and show our MVPs what happens when you apply the four A's (academics, athletics, attitude and achievement) to your life.

Mini Open
September
The Mini Open serves as the Foundation's primary fundraiser during the fall season. This unique night on the "links" needs volunteers all along the miniature golf course to help the event flow - scorers, sign holders, and more. In addition, we need help back at the clubhouse with our wine tasting and silent auction.

Feast on the 50
October
One of our most popular events, the Feast on the 50 is a massive party on the field of the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium. We need volunteers throughout the event, helping to register guests, staffing beer stations and kids' areas, etc.

OUC Half Marathon and 5K
December
Orlando's better Half is always looking for some extra help on race day. We have water stops all along the course that need staffing so the runners can keep hydrated. This is a great opportunity for groups! After the race, we need help at the Finish Line Fiesta celebration where the runners can cool down and chill out with a beer.

Fresh From Florida Parade Float Building
December
Another awesome group opportunity, citrus float building is our biggest volunteer project of the year. We need your help to decorate the Fresh From Florida Parade's signature floats with thousands of pieces of citrus. We construct these masterpieces at the Orange County Convention Center, then drive them up to Downtown Orlando for the parade, where you can watch your handiwork in person or on nationally-syndicated TV! To apply to be a Float Build volunteer, fill out the Float Build Application (PDF) and Float Build Waiver (PDF) and submit to FCSports.
