Register today for the 2008 OUC Half Marathon and 5K. This 32 year Orlando tradition will take place on Saturday, December 6, 2008 starting and finishing at Lake Eola Park in downtown Orlando. The Half Marathon begins at 7:00 a.m., while the 5K begins around 7:10 a.m.

These races wind through scenic Downtown Orlando and around beautiful Lake Eola, alongside live local entertainment. More than 3,000 runners will compete in this Orlando tradition, with proceeds benefiting the youth of Central Florida through the Florida Citrus Sports Foundation.
As always, Orlando's Better Half boasts sunny Florida skies, moderate temperatures and the Finish Line Fiesta for post-race festivities. Race benefits also include:

All race participants have the opportunity to purchase discounted tickets to Florida Citrus Sports' other signature events, the Champs Sports Bowl and the Capital One Bowl. Registered runners can purchase tickets to the 2008 Champs Sports Bowl (Saturday, Dec. 27, 4:30 p.m. kickoff) at $40 per ticket, and tickets to the 2009 Capital One Bowl (Tuesday, Jan. 1, 2009, 1:00 p.m. kickoff) at $70 per ticket The regular prices of bowl tickets are $60 and $80, respectively.
