The 2011 Champs Sports Bowl, the first cornerstone game of Orlando Bowl Week, will take place on Thursday, December 29, at the Florida Citrus Bowl Stadium. The game will kick off at 5:30 p.m. and be televised nationally on ESPN.

FCSports recognized members who gave superlative efforts during the 2010-11 season last night during the 2011 Member Celebration. Rob Yacabucci of United Space Alliance was named Rookie of the Year, Bryan Cole of Super Holiday Tours was named Chairman of the Year for his work with the Orlando Citrus Parade Committee, and Shawn Cavalieri of Recovery First was named Volunteer of the Year.

The Florida Citrus Sports Foundation has listed a pair of auctions on eBay for courtside seats to the March 1 Knicks at Magic game in Orlando's state-of-the-art Amway Center. Proceeds benefit the Florida Citrus Sports Foundation, which provides educational and enrichment opportunities to underprivileged youth in the Orlando area.

Take Stock in Children of Orange County held its annual ceremony today, recognizing incoming and returning students at Valencia Community College’s West Campus on Thursday, February 3. The program celebrated the addition of 24 new seventh graders looking to make the most of the opportunity to advance their education. The Florida Citrus Sports Foundation – the TSIC program’s founding partner in Orange County – has made a $200,000 contribution for 2011.
