Arkansas at LSU is the Capital One Bowl Game of the Week

The No. 1 LSU Tigers (11-0, 7-0 SEC) and the No. 3 Arkansas Razorback (10-1, 6-1 SEC) clash in Baton Rouge in the final week of the regular season. The implications of this game have only increased throughout the season, as both teams remain in the hunt for the West Division title and a possible spot in the National Championship game. A loss could land one of the teams in Orlando in January. This matchup will be a test between LSU’s aggressive secondary and Arkansas’s talented offensive skilled players.

Nebraska at Michigan is the Capital One Bowl Game of the Week

The No. 19 Nebraska Cornhuskers (8-2, 4-2 Big Ten) travel to Ann Arbor to take on the No. 12 Michigan Wolverines (8-2, 4-2 Big Ten) in a battle for position in the Big Ten Legends Division. With just two weeks left, Michigan and Nebraska are tied for second place behind Michigan State for a chance to appear in the inaugural Big Ten title game. A win this weekend might not earn either team a spot in Indianapolis, but could keep them in the hunt for a bid to the Capital One Bowl.

Michigan State at Iowa is the Capital One Bowl Game of the Week

The Iowa Hawkeyes host No. 17 Michigan State (4-1, 7-2) in Iowa City for their final home game of the season this Saturday. Last year’s 37-6 victory by the Hawkeyes ended the Spartan’s unbeaten streak. With just two games left after this weekend, both teams enter the game with a chance to appear in the Big Ten conference championship game.

South Carolina at Arkansas is the Capital One Bowl Game of the Week
The No. 7 Arkansas Razorbacks (7-1, 5-1 SEC) and the No. 9 South Carolina Gamecocks (7-1, 3-1 SEC) are barely trailing the lead in the Southeastern Conference with both teams suffering only one loss in conference play this season. The Gamecocks meet the Hogs in Fayetteville for their third straight road game looking to hold on to their lead in the eastern division.

Georgia vs. Florida is the Capital One Bowl Game of the Week

The No. 22 Georgia Bulldogs (5-2, 4-1 SEC) and the Florida Gators (4-3, 2-3 SEC) face off in Jacksonville this weekend for one of college football’s most stories rivalries. The rivalry began 1915 and is one of few such games still played at a neutral-site. The Gators hold a three-game winning streak over the Dawgs, including a 34-31 victory last year in the series’ first overtime game when Chas Henry drilled a 37-yard field goal as time expired.

ESPN College Gameday heads to East Lansing for a matchup betweent No. 4 Wisconsin (6-0, 2-0 Big Ten) and No. 15 Michigan State (5-1, 2-0 Big Ten). The Badgers will meet a rowdy Spartan crowd for their first away game. Big Ten title hopes begin to set in with this weekend’s game as the two teams are leading their respective divisions.

Michigan at Michigan State is the Capital One Bowl Game of the Week

No. 19 Michigan State (4-1, 1-0 Big Ten) looks for its fourth straight win against No. 10 Michigan (6-0, 2-0 Big Ten) in the battle for the Paul Bunyan Trophy at Spartan Stadium. For the third straight season, the Wolverines are unbeaten entering the contest. It is the first time since the 1965-67 seasons that Michigan State holds a three game winning streak against their in-state rival.

Nebraska at Wisconsin is the Capital One Bowl Game of the Week
The No. 8 Nebraska Cornhuskers make their Big Ten debut this Saturday in a long-overdue matchup against the No. 7 Wisconsin Badgers. The Cornhuskers return to Camp Randall Stadium 37 years after Wisconsin receiver Jeff Mack Sr. crossed the end zone following a 77-yard reception as time expired to secure a 21-20 victory against then- fourth-ranked Nebraska.

Arkansas at Alabama is the Capital One Bowl Game of the Week
The No. 2 Alabama Crimson Tide opens Southeastern Conference play in a West division matchup with the No. 14 Arkansas Razorbacks at Bryant-Denny Stadium. Both teams have compiled a 3-0 record against nonconference opponents and are riding a 13 game nonconference winning streak, the longest in the SEC. The Razorbacks will be seeking revenge from last season after the Tide rallied in the fourth quarter to steal a 24-20 win in Fayetteville.
